We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2021, at the age of 78, Alan Victor Sokolow of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Abraham Sokolow and Sylvia Sokolow (Scher). He is survived by : his wife Margo Joy Sokolow (Gushin) of Methuen; his daughters, Rachel Sokolow (Paul Stavish) of Winooski, VT and Elena Sokolow-Kaufman (Seth Kaufman) of Arlington, MA; his siblings, Peter Sokolow (Vera) of Brooklyn, NY and Patsy Friedman; and his grandsons, Max and Leo Kaufman.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, in support of their Neurological Cancers treatment programs.
