Amelia L. Barbagallo Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Amelia L. Barbagallo of Methuen, Massachusetts. Amelia, born on November 9, 1934, passed away on September 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Achilles Zompa and Lucy Zompa (Savastano); her husband Carmelo (Boston University); and her daughter Lucille. She is survived by: her son Jim Barbagallo (Eileen Burke) of Amesbury, MA; her granddaughters, Julia (Giulian Correia) of North Andover, MA and Emily (Kieran Sullivan) of Melbourne, Australia; her great grandchildren, Sloane and Graham Correia of North Andover, MA; and her close friend Arleen Puccia of Andover. She is also survived by her many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01930.
