She is survived by: her children, Gardner A. Townsend, III (Diane) of Methuen, MA, Denise L. Panagopoulos (Christos) of Lowell, MA, Mark Townsend (Jane) of Merrimac, MA and Michelle M. Leone (Vincent) of Salem, NH; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Melissa, Suzanne, April, Demetrios, Andreas, Anthe, Mark, Alexandra, Katherine, Adrianna, Samantha and Alexis. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
