He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mellor and Ruth Mellor (Hill); and his son Stephen D. Mellor. He is survived by: his wife Claire A. Mellor (Skaff); his children, Donna L. Welch (Shaun) of Salem and James A. Mellor (Alicia) of Salem; his grandchildren, Caitlin Pearson (Adam), David Welch (Abby), Nathaniel Welch (Dy), Stephen Mellor and Sarah Mellor; and his great grandchildren, Daniel, Braden Pearson, Mason, Kaden Welch, Aedan and Aymery Welch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
