David G. Shaheen Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of David G. Shaheen of Methuen, Massachusetts. David, born on March 21, 1947, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shaheen and Emily Shaheen; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian "Bunny" Shaheen, Daniel Martin, Sally, Frank Hanna, Carole, Steve Carelli, Bernie, Phyllis Licata and Carmine Licata.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Shaheen (Licata) of Methuen; his children, Matthew Shaheen (Robin) of Methuen and Alyson Melucci (Josh) of North Attleboro; his grandchildren, Justin, Keith, Brooke, Blake, Luca and Nico; his siblings, G. Joseph Shaheen of North Andover, Louise Martin of Newburyport and Peter Shaheen (Dianne) of North Andover; and his friends, Larry and Pat Rossi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's memory to Central Catholic High School, 300 Hampshire Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
