It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Nelson of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Nelson and Grace Nelson (Raimey); and his brother Wendell Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa (Murphy); his children, Kelley (Donald Granahan), Douglas (Erin Nelson) and Michael (Jenny Sousa); his brother Alan (Brenda Kelley); and his grandchildren, Davin, Aidan Granahan, Connor, Grace Nelson, Ben Nelson, Kira Ouellette and Emme Nelson.
