She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin Ataide; her brothers, Eduardo Tavares and Jose Daniel Tavares; and her siblings-in-law, Victor and Grace Hatem.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mades (David) of Methuen and Edwin Ataide (Nancy) of Biddeford, ME.; her grandchildren, Michael Mades of Methuen and Alyssa Sexton (Michael) of Haverhill; her mother Day; her great grandchild Finn Sexton; and her siblings, Maria DeSousa (Ramiro) of Fall River, MA., Natividad Ferreira of Salem, NH. and Jorge Tavares of Charlotte, ME.
