It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florizel Soares of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Manchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Soares; his children, Gabrielle, Jacqueline, Jeremiah and Zepheniah Soares; and his siblings, Patricia Soares, Desreen Soares Johnson, Glendon Soares, Devon Soares and Marcia Soares-Benalfew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goodrich Funeral Home (128 Washington St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the El-Siloe Seventh Day Adventist Church (10 Baltimore St, Lynn, MA 01902). A procession will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Grove Cemetery (145 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01904). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the same location.
