He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Blanchard and G. Eleanor Blanchard (Joseph); his spouse Aurelie "Lee" Blanchard (Clarke) of Methuen; his daughter Aurelie "Lee" Connors of Hudson, NH; his grandson Kevin Blanchard of Methuen; and his siblings, John, Joe and Ann.

He is survived by: his children, David (Helen) of Derry, NH, Gregory (Lesley) of Methuen, Michelle Hall (Timothy) of Loudon, NH and Paul (Kathleen) of Methuen; his son-in-law Donald Connors of Hudson, NH; his brother James Blanchard (Deborah) of Raymond, NH.; his grandchildren, Nick, Tyler, Corey, Bobby, Holly, Briana, Cameron, Meaghan and Timmy; and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Anaya, Analisse, Nicholas, Sophia, Scarlett, Mikaelyn, Ryleigh, Coralie and Olive.
