With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joanne Assad (Methuen, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Duscheneau and Stephen Manemanus; her sister-in-law Sherry; her son-in-law Richard Philbrick; and her pets, Gracie, Nosy Parker and Marcey.
She is survived by: her children, Keirsten and Stephen; her grandchildren, Mia, Ava, Domenic and Jameson; her siblings, Edward Duscheneau (late Sherry) of Salem, Dorothy Borden (Eric) of Haverhill Massachusetts, Katherine Weeden (Ronnie) of Haverhill and Laurie Rukus (John) of Connecticut; and her pet Koda. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
In honor of her memory, the family kindly asks in lieu of flowers donations to be made to local animal shelters, reflecting her lifelong devotion to the animals she adored.
