It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Newell (Methuen, Massachusetts), who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Newell and Patricia Newell (Small). He is survived by: his wife Patty Newell (Fielding); his son Jonathan of North Andover; his granddaughter Olivia; his siblings, Beverly (Davor) of Northampton and David (Patti) of Hyde Park; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Fielding of Lawrence, Brian Fielding of Lawrence and Alan Fielding (Maggie) of North Carolina; and also Jeana Nichols of Pelham, N. H.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215.
