He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph Philip Gurka and Sheila Claire Gurka (Gibbons); and his brother Robert "Bob" Gurka. He is survived by: his brothers, James M. Gurka of Methuen, Steven J. Gurka of Methuen and Gary P. Gurka (Ann) of Watertown; his sister-in-law Judy Gurka of Methuen; his niece Jessica Hall (Jeremy) of Methuen; and his great-nephew Bobby. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends.
