He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Norma Smith; and his brother Ken Smith. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Chulada-Smith; his children, Corinna (Charles Cohn) of Carthage, NC and Gregory Smith of Methuen, MA; his brothers, Calvin Smith of West Virginia and Alan Smith (Anne) of Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Debbie Smith of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
