“Because I left my home my childhood memories stand still. Wherever I am in the world, I can close my eyes and see my family, our red painted house, and my dad watching hockey on a 12-inch black and white TV. I have the fondest memories of our Sunday fishing trips. When I was little, I would pretend to be asleep in the car to get a free ride into the house. Knowing my dad has left this world is awfully painful, I will miss my dad as I do my big brother, but I know they are being well cared for.”
