It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria L. Pinheiro (Methuen, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Medeiros and Maria A. Medeiros; her significant other Augusto Pinheiro; and her children, Noelia Carvalho, Mario Pinheiro and Augusto Pinheiro.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Jose Azevedo; her granddaughter Jenny Lee Hernando; her children, Manuel Pinheiro (Eugenia) of Fremont, CA, Louisa Azevedo of Methuen, Teresa Hernando (Oscar) of Jerome, ID and Estela Azevedo (Braulio) of Filer, ID; her brother-in-law Manuel Carvalho of Methuen, MA; and her grandchildren, Linda Valine (George), Diane Vail (Michael), Debbie Calero (Berto), Judy Carlos (Aaron), David Pinheiro (Jennifer), Kathy Willis (Robert), Kyle Pinheiro, Brian Pinheiro, Kerry Pinheiro, Edgar Carvalho, Kevin Carvalho (Elizabeth), Gary Carvalho, Stephanie Robinson (Joey) and Kimberly Azevedo. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
