It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred H. (Obst) Saffie of Methuen, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Obst and Helen Obst (Benker); her brothers, Wilfrid and Raymond Obst; and also Dennis Collins.

She is survived by: her husband Albert; her children, Carol Dolan (Steve) of Methuen, Joanne Saffie of Methuen, David Saffie (Lisa) of Windham, NH and William Saffie (Anne) of Candia, NH; her grandchildren, Katelyn, Peter, Timothy, Derek, Emily, Amanda, Holly, Allison and Noah; and her sister Dorothy Glendye (Joseph) of Salem, NH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
