Modestina R. Ferraro Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2025, at the age of 99, Modestina R. Ferraro of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Crescenzo Savastano and Christina Savastano (Miele); her husband Joseph A. Ferraro; and her siblings, Harry, Ralph Savastano, Lucy Zompa, Julia Messina, Florence Grande, Anna Muraca, Carmela "Snookie" Savastano, Rita Piccirillo and Tommasina Grillo.
She is survived by: her children, Robert DeLucia (Linda) of Lawrence, Carla (Daniel O'Carroll) of Methuen and Janice (Michael Gover) of Atkinson, NH; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kate-Lynn Delucia of Lawrence, Ryann, Kalleigh O'Carroll of Methuen, Brittany (Christian Bergeron) of Derry, NH and Mathew Gover of Atkinson, NH; and her great grandchild Aerin Bergeron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cataudella Funeral Home (126 Pleasant Valley St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
