With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard G. Bengtson (Methuen, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Joseph Murphy. He is survived by: his parents, Collie Connor Rivela and Collie Rivella; his father-in-law Leon of Revere; his adoptive son Justin Strong; his mother-in-law Ellen Bernal (Les Bernal); his brother-in-law Sean Shisko; his stepmother-in-law Tammy Murphy; his sibling's children, Caitlin, Erin, Jacqueline, Amelia, Lexi, Aeris, Jimmy, Kevin and Sean Jr.; his great-nephews, Liam and Collin; and also, Bridget Murphy, Ricky and JC Bengston.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rich's memory may be made to either The American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday March 16, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home 80 Broadway, Methuen.
