He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ashley Wachtmann Brown; his parents, Alvin Wachtmann and Sophia Wachtmann; and his siblings, Lorina Wachtmann Meyer, Harold Wachtmann, Arthur Wachtmann and Raymond Wachtmann.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine 'Gerri Wachtmann; his children, Mark (Joanna Wachtmann), Janet (Ed Robbins) and Bruce (Francine Wachtmann); his grandchildren, Amber Wachtmann, Caroline Wachtmann, Mason Robbins, Jeremy Robbins, Bryan Robbins and Jake Wachtmann; his great grandchildren, Shane Brown, Kristy Brown and Cooper Brown; his siblings, Mildred Gerken, Norman Wachtmann and Melvin Wachtmann; and his close friend Ann Hansen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great lifelong friends.
