He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Mildred "Millie" Wheeler (Sparks) and William "Jack" John Wheeler; his wife Carol J. LeShane; and his brothers, Robert "Bob" Wheeler and Richard "Rick" Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Debra L. Murphy (Thomas M. Murphy) of Belmont, NH, Ronald E. Wheeler, Jr. (Jennifer J. Wheeler) of West Warwick, RI and Wendy J. Schofield (Wayne Freedman) of Lawrence, MA.. He is also survived by his two brothers and spouses, and his nieces and nephews.
