He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Goodwin, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Melanie Goodwin and Derek Goodwin; his grandchildren, Mickayla and Dylan Goodwin; and his sisters, Patricia Swinford, Mary Margaret Rae (Joseph) and Elaine Palazolo (Paul).

In lieu of flowers donations in Stephen's memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox for Parkinson's Foundation.
