He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Smith II and Margaret A. Smith; and his sister Susan Bolinder. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Smith of Middleboro, Massachusetts; his sons, Karl Smith (Katherine Forbes-Smith) of Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Andrew Smith (Heather Rybasack-Smith) of Warwick and Nathan Smith (Anika Smith) of Worcester, Massachusetts.; his sister Sally Dube (Joseph Dube); and his brother-in-law Thomas Bolinder. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home (280 Bedford St, Lakeville, MA 02347). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cape Cod Covenant Church (11 Satucket Rd, Brewster, MA 02631).
