He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Garofalo, Sr. and Antoinette Garofalo (Tropeano). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Garofalo (Higgins); his children, Laurie Flanagan of Raynham and John Garofalo III (Jay) of Rockland; his sibling's child Iaria; and his great-nephew James McElroy.
