He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurence W. Jones Sr. and Beatrice Hoxie Jones. He is survived by: his significant other Shirley (Jennings); his children, Dean (Donna Jones) of Brockton, Lisa (Ezzat Habboub) of Middleboro, Linda (Scott Zabik) of Kalamazoo and Susan Babij of Wareham; his grandchildren, William Babij, Sarah DeBrito, Melissa Dyer, Emily Kachinske, Brian Jones, Hayley Zabik, Megan Zabik, Julie Zabik and Abigail Murphy; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Christopher, Grayson, Leo and Roman; his sister Elizabeth "Libby" Mucci of Norwalk, Connecticut.; and his close friend Betsy Esters.
