He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Hobart (Severance); his child Dale Hobart; his stepsons, Jack Cherella (Patricia) of Walpole and Richard Cherella; his sister Priscilla Durost; and his former spouse Elberta Hobart.
He is survived by: his father Berton Hobart; his wife Miriam Hobart (Jenks); his children, Lawrence Hobart, Jr. (Maureen) of Pembroke, Steven Hobart (Diane) of Pembroke, Garry Hobart (Halina), Cheryl Hobart (Gary Clark), Jeffrey Hobart (Debra) of Holbrook and Jason Hobart (Renee) of Upton; his stepchildren, Donna Gately (Alan) of Norwood and Reed Cherella (Melissa) of Fall River; and his former spouse Claire Caliri. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home - Holbrook (69 S Franklin St, Holbrook, MA 02343). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute or Autism Research Institute.
