She was predeceased by : her siblings, Mary (Robishaw) and Brian Cashman; and her husband Paul A. Gaita of Middleboro. She is survived by : her brothers, Robert Cashman, Timothy Cashman and Richard Cashman; her children, Christina of Newton and Paul of Los Angeles; her daughter-in-law Christy (Kallhovd); her granddaughter Tess of Los Angeles; her nieces and nephews, Denise Nietzel of Walpole and Michele Gaita of Mansfield; and also Jackie Mustafa of Taunton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org.
