She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Carey; her parents, Joseph Blaney and Mary Blaney; and her siblings, Joane Sy (Blaney), Joseph Blaney, Eleanor Piazza (Blaney) and Robert Blaney.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah A. Smith (Daniel P. Smith) of Plymouth, James P. Carey (Sherri L. Best) and Joseph J. Carey (Kelly E. Carey) of Plymouth; and her sister-in-law Patricia A. Bowles (William J. Bowles) of Rockland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
