Roger A. Cederlund Obituary
Roger A. Cederlund age 91 passed away on October 6, 2022, at his home in Middleborough MA. A devoted husband and father, he raised his family in Newton, MA with former wife Barbara Cederlund. He later moved to Nashua, NH and ultimately to Middleborough, MA. He worked as a teacher at Hanscom Middle School for most of his career retiring in 1995.
Roger was born in Boston, MA to Oscar and Helen Cederlund on July 27, 1931. He went to BU and received a BS in Science and a MS in Geology. He loved family and friends and enjoyed home projects, tennis and playing golf. Roger served his country as a SP3 in the army during the Korean conflict.
Roger is survived by two children, Pam Cederlund and her partner Charlie Boilard of Nashua, NH and Lesley Cederlund and her husband Jerry Fletcher of North Easton, MA, grandchild, Stephanie Fletcher of North Easton, MA. He is preceded in death by his brother Thomas Cederlund.
Per Roger’s wishes no memorial service will be held. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or a charity of your choice.
