He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Garbitt, III and Mary Garbitt (Perdigao); and his brother Gerry. He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Alison Gamache (Jim), Rachel Hirst (Jason), Ronnie (Trish) and Victoria Amaral (Elliot); and his siblings, Marie White, Ernie and Karen Browne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
