We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 52, Derek Ducasse of Middleborough, Massachusetts, born in Wareham, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carmen Stulpin, Jean Byrne and William Byrne (late Joan Byrne); his aunt Susan Byrne; his uncle Jim Moxley; and his cousin Billy Byrne.

He is survived by: his sons, Trevor Ducasse of Middleborough and Tanner Ducasse of Middleborough; his mother Kathleen Pratt; his father-in-law John Pratt, Jr. of Middleborough; his father Richard Ducasse of Florida; his siblings, Allison Redlon (Benjamin Quinn) of Middleborough, Richard Ducasse, Jr. of Florida and Bobby Pratt of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Tessa Redlon of Middleborough, Alexa Redlon of Middleborough, George Redlon of Middleborough, Kyle Quinn of Middleborough, Chloe Pratt of Georgia and Parker Pratt of Florida; his aunt Bonnie Gallant (Donald) of Middleborough; and his cousins, DJ, Kristin and Lindsay.

He spent many hours searching charities to donate to, from the Byrne Family Charitable Fund.
