She was predeceased by: her husband David P. Petersen; and her parents, Daniel J. McCarthy and Dorothy McCarthy (Donovan). She is survived by: her children, Teresa Petersen of San Diego, Michelle Cote (Matt Kissinger) of Webster, Kimberly Kallanian (Jacques) of Southbridge and David Petersen of Rochester; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Petersen; her grandchildren, Jeremy, James, Catalena, Taylor, Carley, Emma and Anthony; and her siblings, Daniel "Buster" McCarthy of Bellingham, James McCarthy of Medway and Patricia McCarthy of Surprise. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (3 Barber St, Medway, MA 02053). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
