He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. King and Ella King (Hendrickson). He is survived by: his wife Pam King; his daughters, Kristy Arel (Randy) and Danielle Fox (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Tristan Fox, Abigail Arel, Alexander Arel, Samuel Fox, Austin Arel, Eleanor Fox and Adam Arel; and his brother Michael King (Pamela Blackburn King).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute or Massachusetts General Hospital in support of cancer research and care.
