We announce the death of Carol Ann Conte of Middleton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 73. Carol will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Nilson and Irene Nilson (Butterworth); and her brother Robert Nilson. She is survived by: her husband William Conte (Bill); her stepson Timothy Conte (Kristine Conte); her stepgrandson Rocco Conte; her stepson Nicholas Conte (Marietta Apollonio); her stepgrandson Henry Conte; her stepdaughter Lisa Fecteau (Dan Fecteau); and her stepgrandsons, Andrew Fecteau and Tyler Fecteau.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mackey Funeral Home (128 S Main St #114, Middleton, MA 01949). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
