Rose McCormick Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose McCormick of Middleton, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son James H. Hitaffer II; her husband Russell McCormick; and her siblings, Mae DiStasio Masci, Peter, Arthur, Richard and Edward DiStasio.
She is survived by: her siblings, Caroline DiStasio Freeman and Robert DiStasio; her son Arthur Hitaffer; her grandchildren, Arthur "Butch" Hitaffer, Kimberly Hitaffer Perez, Victoria Hitaffer Dimino, Sabrina Hitaffer and James G. Hitaffer; and her great grandchildren, Michael Perez, Christopher Perez, Nicholas Perez of John and Gia Dimino. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, her favorite charity.
