She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeSantis and Evelyn DeSantis (Leoncini). She is survived by: her husband Ernest M. Kapatoes; her children, Cheryl L. Throup of Calabasas, CA, Kevin J. Kapatoes (Melinda) of Hopedale, Susan L. Kapatoes of Bellingham and Jeffrey M. Kapatoes (Melissa) of Melbourne, FL.; her grandchildren, Heather, Lauren, Matthew, Niels, John, Payton, Bella, Mady and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Corbin and Weston; and her sister Lois Shannon of Milford.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home (42 Congress St, Milford, MA 01757). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
