He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Doherty (Tho) of Millbury, Daniel J. Doherty (Maria) of Holden and Kathleen S. Doherty (Jesse Garcia) of Millbury; his grandchildren, Domenic and Anabella Doherty of Holden; his girlfriend Irene Knipe; his siblings, David Doherty (Linda) of Auburn and Nancy Doherty of Auburn; his brother-in-law Edwin "Ed" Hatstat Sr.; his nephews, Edwin Hatstat, Jr. (Diane Hamric-Hatstat), David Hatstat and Jeffrey Doherty (Kristen); and his niece Michelle Henderson (Scott).
