He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Joy Anne May of Millbury, Massachusetts, John Jay Joseph Washburn of Waynesville, Missouri and James Madison Washburn of Apex; and his close friend Ty. He was also cherished by wife and children, John leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
