He was predeceased by: his sister Judy Gabriele (Whiterell). He is survived by: his wife Susan Whiterell (Ojerholm); his children, Kerry Whiterell of Worcester, Shawn of Millbury and Kevin Whiterell of Millbury; his grandson Tyler Whiterell of Grafton; his sister Linda Stevens (Whiterell) of Millbury; and his close friends, Bert Kupcinskas and Mike Graves. He is also survived by four nephews.
