She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Hill and Florence Hill (Lavallee); her husband Hugh McCarthy; her children, Karen Hanratty and Kevin McCarthy; her grandchildren, Chad McCarthy (Rich Rogers) and Chelsea McCarthy; and her siblings, Lee Correira, Mike and Dennis Hill (Diane). She was also cherished by five great grandchildren.
