He was predeceased by: his parents, Jules F. Fortin and Blanche Fortin (Reed); his brothers, Rev. Robert J. Fortin, Roger R. Fortin and Ronald B. Fortin; his sister-in-law Norma Fortin; his nephews, Joseph R. Fortin and James E. Fortin; and his niece Patricia M. Fortin.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lorraine M. Fortin of Worcester; and his nieces and nephews, David R. Fortin (Linda) of Bellvue, CO, Michele T. Aubin (Gerard) of Worcester, Marc S. Fortin of Worcester, Thomas P. Fortin (Susan) of Lake Elsinore, CA and Elizabeth F. Hanson (Scott) of Portage Michigan. He is also survived by grandnephews, grandnieces, one great grandniece.
