He is survived by: his fiancée Marie Weeks; his children, Thomas A. Cates and Ryker R. Cates; his parents, Billie Berenson (Cates) of Worcester and Robert Berenson (Amy) of Millbury; his siblings, Nikolas and Alician Berenson; his grandparents, Maria and Bob Wilcox; and his stepgrandparents, Robert and Barbara Roy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhane Home For Funerals (45 N Main St, Millbury, MA 01527). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brigid Church (59 N Main St, Millbury, MA 01527).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mulhane Home for Funerals, to go towards Tom's funeral expenses.
