He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Chapin; his sister Sue Smith; and his significant other Judith Verchot. He is survived by: his mother Alice Chapin (Brown); his siblings, Edward Chapin (Jane), Ted Chapin (Chris) and Janet Peters (Lawrence); and his stepdaughter Tina Verchot (Jacobo Roque). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
