He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leo and Ruth Elizabeth Goodwin; and his sibling's children, Robert Goodwin Jr., Monica, Francis, William, Anne, Kathleen, Mary Eleanor, Marianne, Raymond, Betsy, Bernadette and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Carey); his son Sean (Heather); his grandchildren, Shannon, Patrick and Brendan of Sanbornton; his children, Kevin (Julie) of Hanover, Massachusetts and Susan (Timothy); and his grandson Seamus of North Easton, Massachusetts..
