We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2024, Lorraine A. McDermott of Milton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her children, John F. McDermott and Donna M. Post; her brother Paul "Salty" Swart; her grandson John E. McDermott II; her sons, Michael (Lisa) of Hanson, Daniel (Julie) of Franklin and Robert (Erica) of Scituate; her children-in-law, Rachel McDermott and Bruce Post; her grandchildren, Sean (Katie), Michael (Britany), Danny, Quintin, Grace, Maisy, Katie McDermott, Jennifer, Kristin and Matthew Post; her grandmothers, Eloise and Bridget; and also Maggie.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth's Church (350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, MA 02186).
