She was predeceased by: her mother Teresa Dos Santos Taylor; and her former husband Ivair Madrona, Sr.. She is survived by: her son Ivair'Nino'Madrona Jr. of Boston; her pet Fofinho Madrona; and her siblings, Hermógenes Gonçalves, Adalberto Gonçalves, Henriberto Gonçalves and Diógenes Gonçalves. She is also survived by nieces & nephews.
A wake was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross (1400 Washington St, Boston, MA 02118).
She also had a deep love for wildlife and found joy in observing and caring for the natural world around her donating to different environmental and conservation organizations, and animal welfare organizations such as the MSPCA.
