He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph DiMattia; and his parents, Eugene DiMattia and Amelia DiMattia (Pasqua). He is survived by: his wife Marie T. DiMattia (Giuggio); his children, Philip E. DiMattia Jr., Paul J. DiMattia (late Karen), Ann Marie DeStephano (Mark) and Susan T. McDermott (Paul) of Milton; his siblings, Marie T. Giglio of Stoneham and John DiMattia; his grandchildren, Gregory, Andrea, Serena, Jonathan, Nicholas and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Piper and Reese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
