It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Picard of Monson, Massachusetts, born in Madawaska, Maine, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Eloi Lavoie and Laura Lavoie (Martin); her husband Jean Luc Picard; her sons, Paul, Guy, Roger and James; and her siblings, Cecile Raymond, Martin Lavoie, Robert Lavoie, Aurore D'Amours and Louise Ruest.

She is survived by : her children, Laura Picard and Peter Picard (Debbie); her brother Felix Lavoie (Doreen); her daughters-in-law, Rose and Lillian Picard; and her grandchildren, Kristin, Nichole, Justin, Luke, David, Elise, Helen, Paul, Heather, Jamie, Amanda and Alecia. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home (1475 N Main St, Palmer, MA 01069). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
