He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Kierkla and Elizabeth Kierkla (Lizon). He is survived by: his wife Melissa Blackburn-Kierkla; his children, William Kierkla Jr. (Sarah) of Monson, Gianni Kierkla (Thomas Smith) of Haddam, CT, Peter Kierkla (Mia) of Belchertown and Dominic Kierkla (Alexis Soucier) of Monson; and his siblings, Barbara Harrington (Randy) of Feeding Hills and Joseph Kierkla (Christine) of Agawam. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombard Funeral Home (3 Bridge St, Monson, MA 01057). A procession will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St Patrick's Church (22 Green St, Monson, MA 01057).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Opacum Land Trust PO Box 233 Sturbridge MA 01566.
