He is survived by: his wife Penny (Smoller); his children, Jay (Michelle) and Jana Duarte (Nick); his brother Richard Starr (Ruth); and his grandchildren, Kezia (Samantha) of Nantucket, Darian Duarte of Nantucket, Austin of Nantucket and Griffin Starr of Nantucket. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
