He was predeceased by: his parents, Captain Angus "Gussie" Carmichael and Katherine Carmichael (MacDonald); his wife Marlene (Mancini); his daughter Michelle; and his brothers, Murray of Waltham, MA and Angus "Robbie".
He is survived by: his sons, Alan and Mark of Natick, MA; his niece Sheena; his sister-in-law Theresa Carmichael of St. Catharines, ONT; his cousin Shirley MacDonald (Carmichael) of North Sydney, NS; and his uncle Eric.
